She WALKED Into The MANSION As A MakeUp Artist,But DISAPPEARED From The…#story #folktole #tales – Ty

Was tidying up the bed in the mansion when she saw it. A small book. The book was old, dusty. It has a red ribbon on it and it was hidden under the bed. Her lip gross dropped and she bent down to pick it. That was when she noticed the book was under the bed. She pulled it out and opened it.

Curiously, she wanted to know what was written inside. My name is Lydia. If you are reading this, please run. Uh-uh. Run care. Run to where? Cuz he became confused. She then turned to the next page. He said he liked my makeup. He said I was special. He said he wanted to help me improve in my career. He told me to wear white. He locked the door.

I screamed, but nobody came to help me. He dropped the book in shock. Yay. I don’t understand. What does this mean? She picked it up again and opened the next page. I don’t know how many of us came, but I only know none of us are left. Please run before he come for you. My cousin was a makeup artist.

She lived in Oi in a small room apartment with her cousin Uru. She loved makeup so much she even started doing it while she was in secondary school using powder and lip gloss to help her friends during parties. After school, she couldn’t go to the university because there was no money. Her parents had passed away.

With her uncle’s help, was able to learn makeup in a salon. Each day, she walked to people’s houses carrying her small bag of makeup tools. She would charge between 5K to 10K just to make one person up. But her clients were few. She would just wake up, check her phone and hope someone will book her. One day she did a makeup for a bride in Porter Court.

The bride posted it online. The makeup was so beautiful. When a celebrity saw it, an actress, a very popular actress, she even reposted the video and tapped Bugazi. because it was all over the moon. This makeup artist for wear is so good though. Oh must see see this bride. Her makeup is so beautiful.

As they drove to was busy gisting her and asking her some questions. That made him to feel so relaxed. When they got to Do’s mansion, the house was a very big house. Dobe welcomed her.

This is my house. As long as you are here, you are welcome. Okay. just feel at home. We then showed her to the guest room. This is where you will sleep tonight. The next day, we continue our work. Was so grateful. She thanked to slept peacefully that night. The next morning, she woke up fresh. She was all happy, always smiling, thanking God for bringing this kind of connection to her.

That day, Mugasi did makeup to about six models. After she was done, Tobe still booked her flight back to Oeri. Was so grateful, thanked him and went back to OI. But just 2 weeks after left Lagos and returned back to she got another message from Tobe. Hey pretty, are you free next week? Go was so excited. Yes sir, I am.

Well, I am hosting a private retreat in Abuja, my estate. just few people I want you to come and relax no work just rest because he became confused which one is no work just rest I can’t that one is not possible as she was still typing that she will not be able to make it because she had a lot of clients who had booked her already for the week another message entered a whooping sum of 500,000 naira gossi screamed Jesus Her cousin Jude washed.

What happened? Why you shouting? See, this guy sent me 500,000. Hey, for what now? He said I should come to Abuja just to rest. No work. But this one is thank you know 500,000. That’s a very big money because I will suggest you think about this thing very well. You have clients that have booked you down for the week.

Do you want to disappoint them? I think you should return this 500,000 and tell him to book you maybe by next month because you already booked this month. Reject it. That’s what I feel because what do you mean no work? Just rest. But because I refused, girl, I need some rest. I need some baby girl pampering. Can you see that? Ever since my channel blew off, I’ve been walking back to back.

I’ve not even given myself break. girl my back X a lot I need that kind of refreshment please I can’t say no and me I cannot return this 500,000 do you know how many clients face I had to paint just to get 500,000 I beg it’s impossible I need to go let me go and just unwind dance you know free myself after all the guy is so handsome but Guju was against it is not fair there’s dignity in labor reject this offer your makeup what do you mean how many paint how many faces will you paint before you get 500,000 why are you thinking like this are you

still not the person that advocate work hard for your money work hard for your money gang now you are you are saying of otherwise because you have seen 500,000 in your account my own one cent is that this offer is tempting and temptation is not good You should know that someone like you that is doing makeup, traveling around the world, it is risky.

Especially when it’s coming from a guy, I’m telling you, you know my instincts never lie. But did not listen. She told the it will never happen. She immediately booked her frights, fixed her nails, braided her hair, she packed her beds, dresses, heels, and makeup kit. And in less than 24 hours, cousin flew to Abuja.

When she got there, Obis still picked her up from the airport and brought her to his mansion. As she entered, the Abuja mansion was bigger, 10 times bigger than the Lagos mansion. It was very beautiful. Tobe told her, “Welcome to my second home. Thank you, sir. Call me to like I said earlier, stop calling me sasa. I beg. I’m not a old man.

Just then a man in a white uniform carried her bags in. His name is Musa. Tobi said toi, “He will be the one to serve you. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Anything you need, just call on Musa. He will be there to serve you.” Hugazi was grateful and thanked him. When she entered the room, two wigs, very expensive wig, was already on the bed waiting for her with designer dresses beside it. Wow.

Cuz he was so surprised and happy that she met Tobi. Few hours later, Tobi invited her to the poolside. The two of them sat there. They ate wine and they were discussing. They ate roasted fish and dr fruit wine all throughout. As music were still playing, Tobe was now saying all the sweet words wanted to hear. You are a special child though.

H look at how beautiful you are. Go and get talent on top. What else do you need? And the most beautiful thing about it is that you’re not like those slain. You are calm, beautiful, and talented because he kept on blushing. Every words coming out, it was ticking the right box.

Well, I just want to make my family proud. And you will, the be said. Let me take care of you for just this 4 days. Okay. After they finished having their time at the poolside, cousin returned to her room. Every morning, a cook will bring her food, breakfast in bed. Clothes will be arranged for her. Jewelries in cold boxes. Every time she asked the guy who brought this, Ma would always say, “Ai, may you enjoy yourself.

” Anugazi be the social media person. She shared everything on her Instagram handle. From one day to two days, 3 4 5. It passed the 4 days to told her she would be staying at his place. It was now the sixth day and was getting bored already. She told Ma, “Please, I want to go to the market. I want to go and get some perfumes. There’s this particular perfume I used to wear but I forgot it while I was coming.

I want to go and grab some and the supermarket. Is there any nearest supermarket around? Ma frowned. Ah madam said that you can’t go anywhere or you don’t need to go anywhere. Anything you want you can order it or just tell me the name of the perfume. I’ll order it for you. Madam I don’t understand. Ma, what do you mean I can’t go anywhere? Am I in bondage? My cousin had really left the room.

I went straight to go and meet Tobi. Tobe. Sir, please. I want to step out. I want to get some perfumes and other things I need at the pharmacy or any supermarket around. Toby smiled. My queen. Everything you need is already here. Just relax. I know everything I need is already here today. I just want some fresh air.

Don’t you like my house? I do. I I didn’t say I don’t like it. Then stay and please do not argue with me again. My cousin felt something strange immediately with the way Tobe changed his face to tell her not to utter another word or start arguing. So she quickly left him without saying another word.

She entered her room, picked up her phone and called U. Wu picked up and asked her what’s going on. She’s supposed to be back by now. Yes. So, I know I’m fine, but I don’t like the fact that this guy said I cannot go out. It’s been 6 days. I kept on asking him what next. He told me to relax. He has a surprise for me.

And I wanted to go out today to go and grab some perfume. He refused me from going as was still talking. The call ended on its own. She tried to call back. It wasn’t going but network was fine. Her network is still saying 4G but U’s number isn’t going through. She checked her phone settings. Everything was going on well. What’s going on now? There’s little talk on my phone.

Why can’t I call? She just said maybe her phone was misbehaving. Then she dropped the phone by the side and went to bed. But in the middle of the night, a loud scream woke up. Uzi jumped up from the bed. Ah, I heard something now. She waited a little bit. Then she heard another scream. Then silence go to the door, looked around.

She didn’t see anybody. She then locked the door back. She went towards the window, checked nothing. She was really scared that night because he had to go and hide inside the wardrobe. She was in that wardrobe from that time till morning. By morning, Musa came with the food like nothing happened. Good morning, madame.

As soon as he opened the door, she asked Musa who was screaming last night. Madam, I not hear anything. Oh, Ma replied, but I heard. What? What are you even saying? Ah father I beg there is no one here except you and I come here in the morning and I also go in evening so I do not know anything in as much as ever since you have been around said I should be sleeping over but yesterday night I don’t hear anything I’m serious decided not to act further so that she will not start sounding like someone that has grace she instructed Mosa to go

as Mosa left she wanted to lie down back on her bed. She tried to adjust the bed because the bed is kind of rough. As she was not adjusting it, her leg brush dropped under the bed. She bent down to pick it. That was when she saw the diary under the bed. She picked the diary up and opened it out of curiosity.

If you have reading this, run. Started to shake. She became really scared. Huh? What is the meaning of this one? She turned to the next page. He said he liked my makeup. He said I was special. He only wanted to help me get at the top of my game. He found me online. He gave me clothes, phones. Then he locked the door. The cameras came on.

Closed the diary out of shock and fear. She ran to the mirror and checked. a small dot like a camera was hidden inside the bulb. She also checked the wardrobe. Another dot near the hanger pole. Out of shock, screamed. And when she turned around, Mosa was standing by the door. This time around, Mosa was not smiling. She was really looking angry.

See, I am not your enemy. I’ll just shatter you the truth. You need to leave. I kept on wondering why you guys keep falling for this guy. What do you mean? Because I asked him he always has a plan bringing girls whatever she he uses them to do. He said I don’t know. You are not the first person and I served and served after few days the person disappeared.

See this guy will use you rubbish you bring in his friends to sleep with you by force if I were you. H you will pick the remaining things that you know you can hold on to and run out of here. Now you see this food I brought to you. Do not eat it. He poisoned it. Not to kill you or the poison is not even to kill you. The poison is to hold you down. Do not eat.

Do not drink. Do not open your door once it is the middle of the night. Please sneak out of your room. I will leave the kitchen door open for you. The kitchen door that leads to the gate. Be very careful. But I must warn you, if you are eventually caught, do not call my name because if you do, I may not be able to help you any longer.

Please do not call my name. If you were caught, there is no problem. He will put you in another room. The only information I need is your social media handle. The one he does not know about. Give it to me. I can use it and reach out to any of your friends or your family. That is all I can do. If not that, there is nothing else immediately because he gave him her second social media account that she opened as a backup.

in case if Instagram or Facebook brings down any of her pages, she can use the second one to start up. That was how Musa got the second handle. Then in the middle of the night, Gazi sneaked out of the room. She tiptoed to the door. She unlocked it. Then she started sneaking. As she was moving, my cousin was not wearing any seats or anything that would implicate her.

But unfortunately for her, she was almost at the kitchen door when the light suddenly came on. Tobe was standing at her front, shirtless, smiling. Where are you going, my star? Goazi suddenly was really shocked and scared. I I just want to get fresh air. You are a liar. Stop lying, my dear. Turned to run, but two hefty men was standing behind her already.

Tobe grabbed her and was screaming, “Leave me alone, please.” She screamed. She shouted, but no one answered. Tobe then cited the diary that she hid behind her back. What is this? Out of curiosity to be collected it, opened it and read what is inside. He smiled. Oh, so those fools left a diary behind.

I didn’t know about it. Anyways, you’re a very dramatic, sweet girl. Since you have found out the truth about me, there is no need to hide myself. You are the best girl so far. So beautiful and so bold. because he was so angry. You are mad. Oh, come on. I’m mad. Of course, I am an artist and you’ll be my final masterpiece. Then to be instructed the two hefty men to drag her back to her room and that was what they did.

Her phone was snatched from her. Everything that she would use to do any sort of communication was taken away. As she went back to her room, Gazi cried. She fell on her knees and continued crying, banging on the door that Tobe should open it, but no one answered. Meanwhile, Mosa knew that she was caught already with the noise and the shouting that was going on.

The only thing he could do was to take action and contact people through her social media. Mosa knew where Tobe always keep the phones he takes away from his victims. The phone he took from he kept it somewhere and Musa knows about it. Musa sneaked and opened the drawer and took out Mugazi’s phone. He checked Ugas’s Instagram account and noticed that she has two because Obe was already monitoring the first one.

Musa cleverly used the second one and tested a message. She’s not safe because he’s trapped. This house is not what it looks like. Please tag the police. Tag the cousin. Save her. Then Musa dropped location. He posted it. He then had to log out of that second account and delete any traces that he even used the phone and put it back where he collected it from.

Fortunately for Godazi, the social media post Musa made started going viral. Was the first person that saw it because she was following all the social media opened. It was both of them that was doing all those things together. As you saw it, she screamed where she was sitting down. God, this is incon account.

She then reposted it that the police started making calls. Another blogger requested, then another, then another, then a popular online gossip page picked it. Then a tech influencer, then it now turns to human rights page. It went really viral. And that was how the whole post got to the top top people and they tracked the location where the post was made from.

They sent out policemen to that location. In less than 6 hours policemen, army people know they fooled the estate. In fact, they surrounded the estate. They searched one house to the other until they got to Do’s mansion. When they entered, Dobby was shirtless. He was even in boxers. He was busy pressing his phone when the officers banged on the door.

They asked him if he knows a certain lady, but Tobay denied it. They now requested for his ID card. He brought it out and they run a thorough search. Unfortunately, they saw something. Who are you truly? And what is your real name? Dobby kept on stammering. He doesn’t know what to do. He now started to see if he can be able to bribe the policemen that was talking to him.

But unfortunately, he didn’t know that the police that is standing in front of him is not those hungry policemen that stands on the road collecting 50 naira, 100 naira from victims. The people standing right in front of him are top top policemen. They gave him a resounding slap and asked him to provide the girl instantly. Was still trying to ask the innocent boy when started screaming from the room she was in.

They did not tie her mouth so she started screaming and he alerted the police officers. That was how they broke her door. And there she was, Bugazi. At least she was still alive. She was so relieved. She hugs the policeman out of shock and fear. She didn’t even know what she was doing. She thought she was gone already.

Goazi thought her life was over. But the policeman assured her that she’s safe and her case is all over social media. That was how knew that Musa helped her. The police arrested Tobe and they used that opportunity to search the whole mansion. They found so many things belonging to different girls. They found hidden cameras in everywhere, every part of the room.

They found plenty phones, diaries, all from different girls that were declared missing. Some were even dead. And the funny part is that Tobe is not even his real name. He had changed his name four good times and used that fake names to create an ID. Musa made sure the whole thing went viral. He made sure he captured everything with his phone.

He posted it on social media and that was how Tobe the celebrity the influencer living the life was exposed. was taken to the hospital by her family. Wu was beside her all throughout she didn’t even let go of her hands. Few days after recovered, Wu started teasing her. You know, I wanted to wait for you to recover perfectly before I face you.

You know, you’re a very stupid girl, right? Think your stars that you have a man that has integrity. If not for that chef, what would you have done? What would I tell my village people? I would tell them that they have finally succeeded. Abby eh I warned you. I told you that money is too good to be true. That’s trusting man.

Now see the world is dangerous these days. Two of us will be online. We be on Facebook. We be on Instagram. We hear separate stories on how guests were adopted makeup artist. Is it the ones that do massage, spa, that normally do home delivery? It doesn’t end well sometimes. You and I know about it. And I warned you. Oh, you will not listen. Now see your life.

You see your life. Was just smiling and telling her thank you. Thank you so much. Now you are blaming me. After the two of them teased each other finish, was so grateful. She told her they should kneel down and pray to God. At least her prayers was not in vain or her midnight prayer was not in vain because after you called me and you told me that is not allowing you out of the mansion, I became worried. Seriously worried.

I called you. I called you. Kept on calling your number. It wasn’t going through here. I almost ran mad. I reported to the police. There is nothing I did not do. But no one seems to understand. They all said they went for hook up. There’s nothing they can do that you landed in the lion’s den or more.

You know get waiting this policeman did not tell you. They are very mean and very callous. But the ones they speak I was really down for days. Kept on praying and hoping that my baby girl will come back. My best person. Oh let us pray. They knelt down and they prayed to God that faithfully because he later recovered most of her properties.

At least the makeup box that she traveled with and few of her clothes were still recovered. At least she learned her lesson. Greediness is not good. And do not follow a man you do not know. And always listen to advice when is given. Sell besties. I am sending hug and love to Acro Mac. From Dream Gig to House of Horrors: The Terrifying Ordeal of a Makeup Artist Trapped by a Fake Influencer

Article:

In the modern digital age, social media has revolutionized how talent is discovered and celebrated. Overnight, an ordinary individual working tirelessly in a modest apartment can find themselves thrust into the dazzling spotlight of fame, all thanks to a single viral post or a celebrity repost. For Ugazi, a passionate and dedicated young makeup artist from Owerri, that exact dream seemed to materialize in an instant. Operating out of a small room shared with her cousin Uju, Ugazi spent her days walking from house to house with a modest bag of tools, charging meager fees to paint faces for local events. Her life was characterized by hard work, resilience, and the quiet hope that her persistence would one day pay off.

That pivotal moment arrived when she did the makeup for a bride in Port Harcourt. The bride posted the video online, catching the eye of a popular celebrity actress who reposted it with high praise. Within forty-eight hours, Ugazi’s Instagram follower count exploded from a quiet five hundred to over twenty thousand. Direct messages flooded her inbox with inquiries about home services and destination bookings in Lagos. Among these messages was an enticing offer from a glamorous online personality who called himself Tobe, a lifestyle influencer boasting over two hundred thousand followers, luxury cars, trips to Dubai, and an enviable feed showcasing wealth and success.

Tobe reached out with a proposition that felt like a golden ticket: he wanted Ugazi to come to Lagos to style and provide makeup services for the models at his agency, promising accommodation in his private guest house and fully covering her travel expenses. True to his word, he sent one hundred and fifty thousand naira instantly for her transport and preparation. Ecstatic and eager to embrace her newfound success, Ugazi packed her bags and flew to Lagos, where Tobe met her at the airport, charming her with his warm presence, expensive perfume, and welcoming demeanor. After a successful stint styling models at his Lagos mansion, Ugazi returned home, feeling grateful and confident in her bright future.

However, just two weeks later, Tobe contacted her with an even more lucrative proposition. He invited her to a private retreat at his estate in Abuja, claiming it was purely for relaxation and rest, with no work required, accompanied by a staggering five hundred thousand naira transfer to her account. While her cousin Uju harbored deep reservations, warning her that money coming that easily from a stranger could harbor hidden dangers, Ugazi allowed the temptation of financial relief and the promise of luxury pampering to cloud her better judgment. She brushed aside the warnings, packed her belongings, and flew to Abuja, walking straight into a gilded trap.

Upon arrival, Abuja offered an even grander spectacle than Lagos. Tobe’s mansion was ten times larger, more luxurious, and meticulously appointed. A domestic worker named Musa welcomed her, serving as her primary attendant for meals and daily needs. Expensive wigs and designer dresses awaited her in her designated guest room, and days were spent lounging by the poolside, sharing wine, and basking in Tobe’s flattering attention. Yet, beneath the veneer of luxury, an unsettling atmosphere began to take root. When Ugazi requested to step out to a nearby supermarket to purchase a forgotten personal perfume, her simple request was met with sudden, rigid resistance. Tobe firmly insisted that she did not need to leave the house, and any attempt to question or argue his directive was met with a chilling, intimidating shift in his demeanor.

The true nightmare began to unravel when Ugazi attempted to reach her cousin Uju by phone, only to find that despite strong network signals, her calls would not go through. That night, a blood-curdling scream echoed through the quiet corridors of the mansion, followed by an eerie, profound silence. Terrified and paralyzed by fear, Ugazi hid inside her bedroom wardrobe until dawn. When she questioned Musa the next morning about the disturbance, the domestic worker feigned ignorance, claiming he had heard nothing.

Later that morning, while attempting to tidy her rumpled bed, Ugazi dropped her lip gloss, causing it to roll underneath the mattress. Reaching down to retrieve it, her hand brushed against a small, dusty old book bound with a red ribbon—a hidden diary. Driven by a mounting sense of dread, she pulled it out and opened the pages. The chilling words written by a previous victim named Lydia stared back at her: “My name is Lydia. If you are reading this, please run…” Page after page detailed a terrifying pattern of deception: how she had been lured online with promises of career help, forced to wear white, locked in a room, and subjected to hidden surveillance cameras installed in light bulbs and wardrobe hangers.

Panic setting in, Ugazi checked her room and discovered the hidden lenses staring back at her. As horror gripped her, Musa suddenly appeared at the door. Stripping away his polite facade, the domestic worker revealed the grim reality: Tobe was a dangerous predator who routinely lured young women to his mansion, used them for his sinister purposes, and made them disappear without a trace. Musa warned her that the food brought to her room had been poisoned not to kill, but to incapacitate and trap her mind. He instructed her to sneak out through the kitchen door in the middle of the night, while also urgently requesting her backup social media handle so he could attempt to reach her family.

That night, Ugazi executed her escape plan, tiptoeing quietly toward the kitchen exit. But fortune was not on her side. The overhead lights suddenly blared to life, revealing Tobe standing shirtless and smiling coldly in her path, flanked by two imposing men. Seized by terror, she tried to run, but she was quickly overpowered and dragged back to her room. Her phone and all communication devices were stripped away, leaving her utterly isolated and despairing on the cold floor.

Recognizing that Ugazi had been caught and that time was running out, Musa took a monumental risk. Remembering where Tobe stored the confiscated phones, the brave domestic worker sneaked into the drawer, retrieved Ugazi’s backup phone, and logged into her secondary social media account. Swiftly and cleverly, Musa posted a desperate SOS message detailing her exact location, warning that she was trapped and not safe, and urging followers and law enforcement to intervene.

In a digital miracle, the post ignited a firestorm across social media platforms. Uju, who closely monitored Ugazi’s online presence, was the first to spot the alarming alert. Seized with panic and determination, she immediately amplified the post, sparking a chain reaction that drew the attention of prominent bloggers, tech influencers, human rights advocates, and online communities. Within hours, the viral outcry caught the attention of top-tier law enforcement and security agencies.

Acting swiftly on the crowdsourced location data, heavily armed police and security forces mobilized, surrounding and thoroughly searching the estate. When they breached Tobe’s mansion, they found him casually lounging in his boxers, attempting to maintain an air of innocence and denying any knowledge of a missing woman. However, as officers demanded identification and began a rigorous sweep of the premises, Ugazi’s desperate screams from her locked room pierced the silence.

The police smashed open the door, rescuing a profoundly relieved Ugazi into safety. A subsequent comprehensive search of the luxury mansion uncovered a trove of horrors: hidden cameras spanning every corner of the estate, dozens of phones, personal belongings, and diaries belonging to multiple young women who had been declared missing over time, some of whom had met tragic ends. Investigators also uncovered that “Tobe” was an alias, part of an elaborate web of false identities the perpetrator had used for years to ensnare unsuspecting victims.

The aftermath brought profound relief and emotional healing as Ugazi was reunited with her family and cared for in a hospital, surrounded by Uju’s unwavering support. Though the ordeal left deep psychological scars, it served as an invaluable, life-altering lesson about the hidden dangers lurking behind polished digital facades, the perils of unverified trust, and the vital importance of heeding intuition and trusted advice. Through extraordinary courage, digital solidarity, and a whistleblower’s quiet act of defiance, a chilling trap was shattered, bringing a dangerous predator to justice and ensuring that survival prevailed over despair.
