It was early in the morning in Lagos. Tundday was in the bathroom humming and waiting. That fateful day was his wedding anniversary, 5 years with Amaka. He had even planned to surprise her with dinner at a very nice restaurant later that night. His phone was lying on the table and it began to ring.

Amaka was inside the room. She walked up to pick it up. Just then a smile on her face vanished. St. Mark’s Hospital. Their family doctor was calling. Why is this man calling again? Her eyes look weak and she hardly do anything at home without panting or resting before continuing. Tind asked that severally. All is well.

She was brought in here few uh minutes ago. Room 204. The doctors are already attending to him sir. Calm down. Tundi rushed towards the room and saw his wife lying on the bed pale and weak.
