You want a mess here. Oh my god. Clean that up. What is wrong with you? What are you standing there looking at? Can’t you see this office is dirty again? Or have your eyes suddenly stopped working this morning?  Then one morning you looked at me  >> as though I had always belong.

>> Who are you? >> Ah, good morning, sir. I did not know anyone would come this early. >> I’ve never seen your face before. When did they employ you? Last month, sir, I was brought in by the cleaning agency. >> H What’s your name? >> Helen, sir. >> Helen. And you always resume this early? >> Yes, sir.

If I don’t come early, all of you will meet the office dirty when you arrive. So, I like to finish before anybody comes. >> That’s very disciplined of you. Most people your age are still sleeping at this time. Tell me, what were you studying before this cleaning job? >> Why do you ask, sir? >> Because you sound smart and you are also disciplined.

>> I studied economics. >> So, how come you are working here as a cleaner? It’s a long story, sir. Let’s just say life happened. We don’t always get what we want from life, but we just have to keep pushing regardless. >> All right, Helen. Let me allow you to continue with your work, then.  >> Good morning, sir.

You’re around very early today. >> The cleaner that was in my office this morning, Helen. From today, she cleans my office. Only her. [sighs]  without announcing. No fireworks, no grand parade, just kindness showing up again  and again.  >> Are you okay? I’m so sorry. I wasn’t watching. I wasn’t watching. Hey. Hey, talk to me. Is it your leg? Your hand? Are you hurt? >> The money. I lost my money. [gasps] What money? >> The money my sister gave me to buy bread and beans. It fell inside.

Now me and my brother and my sister will go hungry today. And my sister will not be happy with me. >> Sorry.  Stand up. Come enter my car. I’ll buy you everything you need. Don’t cry again. Come on.  Get in. So, where do you stay? Let me take you home after we get the food. >> Sir, please just drop me small distance from the house.

Oh, and I’m not following bad friends. Oh, it’s one rich uncle that almost hit me on the road. I lost the money you gave me in the process. I was crying because you won’t have anything to eat today. Which school did you go to? >> I went to University of Lagos, sir. >> That’s good. What year did you graduate? >> I did not graduate, sir. I dropped out in 300 level because of money.

>> Oh, so sorry to hear that. What about your parents? Where are they, >> sir? It’s a long story. I don’t really like talking about it. >> Okay, no pressure. But whenever you’re ready, I’m here to listen. >> Sister, they said if I don’t bring my school fees tomorrow, I won’t write exams. >> Peter, listen to me carefully.

Don’t cry. Go to school tomorrow morning. Wear your uniform. Hold your hacks. Leave the classroom. Forgive me for asking, but this doesn’t look like something you would normally sell.  It seems very special to you. >> It belonged to my father. He gave it to me on my birthday during my second year at the university.  He told me that whenever I looked at it, I should remember that time waits for nobody and that I should never stop chasing my dreams.

A few weeks later, he traveled with my mother for a business meeting. They never came back. >> I’m very sorry for your loss, my daughter. If this watch carries so many memories, are you sure you want to part with it? Sometimes memories are worth more than money. >> I know, sir, but my younger brother’s school fees must be paid before tomorrow morning.

If the money isn’t complete, they won’t allow him to write his examinations. He’s a brilliant boy. I can’t let his future suffer because I’m holding on to the past. Sir,  I think you’ve added too much. >> No, I haven’t. consider the extra money my own little contribution toward keeping that young boy in school.  >> Thank you very much, sir.

I’m always packaging, doing everything, but it’s like he doesn’t even care. Now this cleaner just walt in and he’s giving her attention free of charge. Can you imagine that? Rosemary, listen to me. You cannot sit and watch one common cleaner snatch your man from you. Oh, you have to do whatever you need to do to get her out of the way.

Oh, abomination. I will never allow that. In fact, I’ve already started showing her pep today. I poured hot coffee on her. That’s my girl. I trust you to do the needful. >> Good afternoon, sir. I’m going to the restaurant nearby. You are still very busy. You don’t look like someone who will be going out for lunch.

Why did you ask, sir? >> Helen, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you these past few days. I’d like us to spend more time together outside work if you’re comfortable with that. >> Sir, you’re very funny, but I’m just a cleaner struggling to train myself and my two siblings.  I don’t think I’m what you’re looking for. >> It doesn’t matter to me.

You’re strong, intelligent, hardworking, and honestly, you’re the best company I’ve had in a long time. You know, to find genuine love is difficult, especially for someone who has money. A lot of ladies would want to be with you because of your money and status, but the connection will not be there. I feel different around you and I would love us to give our relationship a chance if you would allow it.

You don’t have to answer me now. You can take your time and think about it. No pressure at all. Have you people noticed something lately? Since when did the boss start asking only one cleaner to handle his office? Every single morning if Helen is not around, it’s like nobody else is allowed to enter. Forget that one. Did you not see what happened today? The boss asked Rosemary to buy two plates of food.

Next thing we heard, he sent Rosemary to go and call Helen. Tell me honestly, have you ever seen a CEO eating lunch with the cleaner before? >> Whether something is going on or not, I don’t know. But one thing is certain, people have started talking. If they continue spending this much time together, the whole company will soon hear about it.

All of you should lower your voices. This is somebody’s job you’re talking about. If the boss hears that you’re spreading rumors about him and that innocent girl, all of us know how that story will end. Ah, how did it go? Oh, yeah. Give me full gizz. Did he ask you out? When is your next date? Docas, can you imagine? The food was for him and that dirty stinking cleaner.

And that’s not even the worst part. After I brought it, he had the guts to send me to go and call her myself. Told me to shut the door and leave. Do you know how embarrassing that is? Me. Ah, this man get lio. I’m telling you, I felt so humiliated. I don’t suffer today, but I will show that girl who I really am. >> Sister, that uncle that bought food for us, he came to see us today.

He brought plenty provision and some other food stuffs for us. That uncle is very nice. >> Who is this uncle that you guys keep talking about? I need to see him. It’s very important. I know who the person is. >> He also wants to meet you, sister. He asked about you, but we told him you were at work. >> Mhm. Okay. I hope to meet him one day.

So, have you guys eaten? >> Yes, we ate part of the food that he bought for us. We kept some for you as well. >> Oh, that’s so nice of you. Oh, yeah. Go and bring my own food. I’m very hungry. Empty [music and singing] carrying dreams inside a bucket. I will frustrate this cleaner and make her life miserable.

You want to steal my man over my dead body. Helen, come and look at this office you cleaned. Is this how you do your job? If you can’t work again, maybe you should resign. Ma, but I already cleaned this office. Everywhere was spotless.  >> Are you mad? Are you saying I’m lying? Can’t you see the dirt with your own two eyes? Clean it again this minute or I will report you to HR  myself.

>> Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for making time for this meeting. I’d like us to discuss what I believe is the biggest investment opportunity we’ve seen in years. I want us to acquire for Jie Holdings. Toby, with all due respect, I don’t think this is a wise move. Fajui Holdings has been struggling for years now.

Every financial report I’ve seen tells the same story. Their depths keep increasing while their revenue keeps dropping. I honestly think we should stay away from that company. >> I have to agree with Chief Balagan. Their books are a complete mess. There are outstanding loans everywhere, abandoned projects, unpaid contractors, and multiple legal disputes.

If we buy them, we’re not just buying a company. >> Now, let’s talk about why they’re really collapsing. It isn’t because the company lacks value. It’s because the people running it don’t know what they’re doing. Poor financial decisions, no accountability, no long-term strategy. We’re not purchasing failure. We’re purchasing opportunity.

We’re buying valuable assets at distressed prices. You’ve clearly done your homework. I must admit, I didn’t look beyond the liabilities. I was too focused on everything that was going wrong. So now you’re questioning me. Have you become so comfortable around this office that you think you can challenge me? Listen carefully, Helen. Whether I pour the water or rain enter through the roof is none of your business. Your job is to clean. So stop talking and do the work you’re paid to do. Let me advise you for your own good.

Whatever dream you’re dreaming concerning Mr. Toby, wake up from it now. Men like him don’t marry girls that push mops and empty dust bins for a living. Stay where you belong before you disgrace yourself. My have never disrespected you. I have never fought with you. I honestly don’t know why you hate me this much.

If I have offended you in any way without knowing it, I’m truly sorry. Save your apology. It won’t change anything. I don’t understand anymore. Every single day, I come here and do my work the best way I know how. I don’t insult anybody. I don’t look for trouble. I don’t compete with anyone. And yet it feels like my very existence offends some people.

Maybe this job isn’t worth it anymore. Maybe it’s time to leave with the little dignity I have left. >> You saw me before the world changed my story. You held my hand before success before tomorrow. >>  >> Fico, have you seen Helen? I wanted to discuss something with her before the end of the day.

I have tried so hard to remain respectful. I have tried to ignore the insults. I have tried to be patient. But today, I realize something. Some people have already decided who I am because of the uniform I wear. No matter how hard I work, no matter how kind I am to them, I will always just be the cleaner. >> Helen, if someone has hurt you, don’t carry that burden alone.

You don’t have to tell me today if you’re not ready. But please don’t make such a life-changing decision because of one painful day. The world has already taken so much away from you. Every morning feels brand new  because I found a place called home. The day I  found you. Some people fall in love with beauty.  Doc, she’s not just some cleaner anymore. She’s the co-owner. She has everything now. The money, the house, the man, everything I wanted. Rosemary, I don’t know what to tell you again.

I destroyed myself trying to destroy her. And for what? [sighs] You mean Rosemary did all of that to you? Why didn’t you say anything about it to me? Why didn’t you tell me?  I’m dealing with her tomorrow. First thing. >> Everybody deserves a second chance.  >> Not this one.

Not after everything she did to you. I don’t like to have that kind of person around me. I know everything, Rosemary. Um the first lesson I want to share with you is if you are doing well and you have kids, try as much as possible to to build a trust fund for them or write a will. We are not saying I’m not saying that anything bad might happen to you or blah blah blah. No, all I’m saying is if anything happens such that I mean so that your family will not come and then take away everything from your children and they will be stranded like we saw in this story that we watched that the the eldest daughter had to start taking care

of her sister her brothers because the parents uh um the sudden demise of her parents. So build something that your children that is for your children like a trust fund something like that so that they won’t suffer um if anything happens anything nothing will happen to you all right I just said that and the second lesson I want to share with you if you love somebody if you are crushing on somebody and that person doesn’t love you back it’s not the end of the old your own person will come.

You don’t have to become cruel towards the person the person I mean towards the one the person is dating or towards the person. You don’t have to become cruel and then you have to be like it has to be me or me. If it’s not me then nobody can date you blah blah blah. like we saw in this story where the lady had to be running around trying to get attention even to the extent of using voodoo and all those stuff.

So whoever is yours will come along the way. You don’t have to like um want to kill yourself over one person yet the person is not loving you back. You will find your own person.
